2023 was a remarkable year for me photographically. Not only did we return to the US after six long years for a fantastic road trip through New Mexico and Colorado in autumn, which resulted in tons of great photographs,
but throughout the rest of the year we also made lots of mostly short but nice and very diverse trips with our campervan, including one to the Provence in southern France, a few days in the Allgäu Alps and in Luxembourg,
plus a nice spontaneous skiing trip to the black forest. And finally I made the long overdue switch to full frame and invested in a nice Canon R6 Mark II and some lenses ;-)
So hopefully the new year will bring lots of chances to test out the new gear on some nice trips, wherever they will lead us... Happy new year to everybody and thanks for checking out my favorite images of 2023!
